About Me

I’m Rebecca Kase — a psychotherapist, speaker, author, educator, transformation coach, and entrepreneur. But most of all, I’m a survivor who learned to thrive. And you can, too.

Your Guide to Transformation

You know it’s time for change, whether in your life, your work, or your relationships. But something is holding you back. It could be past trauma, or stress and overwhelm, or just the inertia of old habits or beliefs. You don’t have to stay stuck, though. If you believe deep down that there has to be something more than “just getting by”, welcome. You’re in the right place. And if you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to show you how to get where you want to go.

My Story: From Trauma to Thriving

There’s a core belief that drives everything I do: Adversity can hold some of our greatest lessons if
we’re willing to pay attention, get honest with
ourselves, and dig deep.

I learned this through my professional training and experiences as a psychotherapist, EMDR and polyvagal therapy expert, yoga teacher, and entrepreneur. My greatest teachers, though, have been my personal traumas and losses.
I’ll be real with you — I've gone through some intense stuff. I was sexually assaulted in college and went on to develop a host of medical issues that required multiple surgeries in my early 20s. I was mixed up and suffering, which led me to develop unhealthy relationships with drugs, alcohol, and people. That landed me in an abusive and toxic relationship for several years. Suffering from PTSD and deep depression led me to believe that ending my life was the only answer. I made a serious suicide attempt – but luckily I failed. And to top it off, my father ended his life by suicide years later when facing the rest of his days in prison for a crime I reported him for.

And yet, I survived. I healed, I grew, and today, I am thriving.

Through all of that pain and suffering, I became an expert on how to walk in the dark, heal, and thrive. Today I’m a practicing psychotherapist, a professional educator, and the founder of Kase & Co., which trains other therapists. Drawing from neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality I developed the Thrive 5 to help people regulate their nervous systems to build resilience and live more fulfilling lives. I also share my work in books, articles, podcasts, keynotes, conferences, retreats, and workshops. Even when presenting heavy content, I’m known for showing up with authenticity, relatability, humor, and joy.
