Rebecca Kase is a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher, living in Denver CO.  She is an EMDR Consultant & Basic Trainer, and owner of Rebecca Kase & CO.  Rebecca is a compassionate and authentic consultant, who has a keen sense for holding space and keeping learning fun.  Rebecca incorporates yoga and mind body techniques throughout her clinical work, and has specialties in dissociation, complex trauma, and ego state work. Rebecca values creating shame free spaces for learning in training and consultation, and in teaching clinicians the values of humility and curiosity as vital elements to the healing process. Rebecca has worked in a variety of settings and with a variety of populations. She began her career as an MSW working with children and adolescents. She has worked in community mental health centers, nursing homes, private practice, community based work, and internationally.   Rebecca has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has additional experience and specialties with Yoga Therapy, Veterans, DID, and complex trauma.

Beth Halverson

Beth is a licensed professional counselor based in Eugene, Oregon.  She is a practicing therapist in Community Mental Health at Looking Glass Community Services.  Beth provides consultation and training through Oregon Consultation Associates [website coming this month].  She has specific training for working with complex trauma, adoptive and foster families, and focuses on integrating multiple approaches with EMDR: internal family systems, relational interventions, polyvagal theory, and dialectical behavioral therapy to support clients and clinicians through a holistic lens.  She believes authentic connection and radical acceptance are important parts of the many pathways to healing.  She has worked with clients from ages 3-65, bringing experience from positions in inpatient treatment, residential programs, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient settings, multiple community mental health programs, and clinical supervision for intern clinicians.  She loves finding what makes clients and clinicians feel hopeful and using this as a tool for growth.

Cassie is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed addiction counselor based in Denver, Colorado. She is an Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training, and a Director with Life Stance. She provides consultation and training services through her business, Paper Crane Counseling and Consultation. Her practice specialties include the treatment of trauma and PTSD, substance use and addictions, eating disorders and body image issues, couples therapy, and sex therapy. Cassie has diverse clinical experience working in eating disorder residential and partial hospitalization programs, outpatient substance use programs, university counseling centers, and community mental health centers. She has held positions from therapist, clinical team lead, clinical supervisor, and clinic coordinator throughout her career.

Crystal Wildes is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has over fifteen years of experience working, training, and providing supervision/consultation in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, outpatient clinics, non-profit organizations, and private practice. She has worked with individuals and families of all ages, including adjudicated youth, at-risk teens, families involved with social services, and victims of crime. Crystal has specialty areas of trauma recovery, including having been trained in EMDR in 2012, which forever changed her clinical work. She prides herself in being authentic and genuine in her approach to facilitate the learning experience.

Diane DesPlantes


EMDR Certified Therapist, Consultant & Trainer

Diane is a talented and caring consultant and trainer. She has served for over 5 years as an EMDRIA Board Member. She is an EMDR Consultant, and EMDR Trainer. She has been appointed as an Expert Witness by the New Jersey Middlesex Court. Diane holds EMDR Basic Trainings through her independent business. Her trainings are devoted to creating learning spaces solely for BIPOC clinicians.

Diane maintains a private practice in Plainfield NJ, as a bilingual therapist in Spanish and English. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Fordham University in New York City, and obtained her Master’s Degree at Hunter College Graduate School of Social Work in New York City.

Diane has over 20 years of clinical experience. She has been certified as a trainer of trainers, and has worked as a Master Trainer for the Department of Children and Families for the State of New Jersey, covering topics such as cultural competency, supervisory courses, child sexual abuse and LGBTQ issues. Diane has presented at the Annual NASW Conference, the Annual EMDRIA conference, colleges, universities, and other nationally recognized conferences and professional events. Evelyn Wright

Evelyn is a compassionate and highly respected trauma expert. After obtaining a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), Evelyn became involved in trauma and play therapy while at UCLA’s Department of Pediatrics. Since transitioning to private practice in 2003, she continues to work with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder as an EMDR Certified Therapist, and a current consultant in training. Evelyn is the former President of EMDRIA and served on the EMDRIA Board of Directors for 5 years. She has specialties working with adults, children, and adolescents. Her clinical focus includes Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders, and ADD/ADHD, as well as individuals and families with grief and loss, stage of life/adjustment, behavioral, attachment, domestic violence and abuse issues.

Evelyn utilizes research-based treatments to ensure clients achieve optimal wellbeing. Jessica Downs

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker residing in Grand Junction, Colorado. Before her second career as a therapist, she worked as a high school teacher among a highly traumatized population in Houston, Texas, where her inclination toward healing really took root. Jessica left her position as a teacher to earn her degree in order to more acutely participate in the resolution of trauma. She discovered the power and effectiveness of EMDR early in her therapy career, and is now a Certified EMDR practitioner and Consultant-in-Training, offering individual counseling and consultation through her private practice Live Well Counseling Center.  Jessica specializes in use of ego state work in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.  She is bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and strives to support her clients in embodying healing and working towards becoming “whole”.

Laurel O’Neal Thornton

Laurel is a licensed professional counselor in Morgantown WV.  Laurel has been passionate about EMDR since she was introduced to it during her Master’s studies in Counseling at West Virginia University. She attended EMDR training in 2011, and has been practicing EMDR ever since. She now owns her own private practice, Whole Brain Solutions, in Morgantown, WV, that utilizes EMDR as its primary theoretical approach. She focuses on offering therapy, consultation, and trainings focused on helping people increase their awareness and understanding of how Adaptive Information Processing can be applied and felt across settings.  Laurel enjoys the practical application of neuroscience. She attended Emory University, majoring in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuro-Psychology. She strives to integrate neuroscience into her consulting and counseling.
