EMDR Recent Events & Early Interventions LIVE Webinar

This live, half day webinar (5.5 hours) will review EMDR Early Intervention concepts and protocols. Participants will learn important conceptualization strategies and treatment planning methods for clients presenting following a recent traumatic event. Trainees will review the 8 phases and 3 pronged approach as these concepts relate to recent traumatic events. Strategies for resourcing and stabilizing clients, as well as telescopic processing techniques will be taught. We will also review and learn 3 protocols for desensitizing recent traumatic events. Our group will talk through case vignettes to apply theory into practice and review vital conceptualization components in the process.

This course is eligible for EMDR clinicians currently in Basic Training, and to EMDR clinicians who have completed Basic Training. This course is eligible for 5 CE hours through EMDRIA & NBCC. These credits are only provided to clinicians who have completed Basic Training.

Learning objectives:

  • Grasp conceptualization techniques for recent traumatic events
  • Learn 2 resourcing strategies to increase stabilization following a recent event
  • Learn 2 telescopic processing techniques, being EMD & EMDr
  • Assess a client’s readiness for desensitization of recent traumatic events
  • Identify 2 indicators for choosing between RDI, telescopic processing & Desensitization protocols for recent traumatic events
  • Learn 3 protocols for desensitization of recent traumatic events

Registration:

To register for this course you must be taking EMDR Basic Training or have completed EMDR Basic Training with an EMDRIA approved trainer. EMDRIA CEs will only be available to those who have completed Basic Training.

Continuing Education:

This course is EMDRIA approved for 5 CEs
This course is NBCC approved for 5 CEs.

Cancellations are permitted up to 24 hours of training and are eligible for a full refund.

Participants are expected to attend the full training.  If a participant does not complete the training, no refund will be administered and no credits will be received for participation.
If for any reason the trainer must cancel due to illness, emergency, etc participants shall be notified immediately and a full refund will be issued.
